The OneOhio Region 12 Committee will hold its next regular meeting on Thursday, August 28, at 10:00 a.m. at Buckeye Hills Regional Council, located at 1400 Pike Street, Marietta, Ohio. The meeting aims to review proposed bylaw changes presented by the Bylaw Subcommittee. Buckeye Hills serves as the administrative agent for Region 12 of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation, which was established to allocate local funds resulting from the State of Ohio's settlement with the pharmaceutical industry over its role in the opioid crisis. Region 12 includes Coshocton, Muskingum, Guernsey, Perry, Morgan, Noble, Monroe, and Washington counties. The Foundation collaborates with local stakeholders to promote substance misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery initiatives, ensuring ongoing support for Ohioans.
