In today’s market, it is important to take advantage of any and all opportunities to market cattle most desirable to the buyer. BQA programs ensure that beef and dairy cattle are maintained in a manner which will result in a safe and wholesome beef product for the consumer. As of now, Wendy’s, Tyson Foods, Cargill and multiple auctions have announced requirements that cattle they buy be from Beef Quality Assurance certified farms. BQA certification is required of beef AND dairy producers.
