Details:
Minnesota troubadour Mason Jennings returns to the beautiful Sacred Heart Music Center altar stage debuting work from his new album “Magnifier.”
Jennings will perform solo both on guitar and grand piano for the 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 concert.
“Magnifier,” released this summer, showcases classic Jennings songwriting: Austere. Honest. Bold. Intimate. Personal. Poetic and pure.
Recorded at his lake house with just vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, kick drum, and snare drum, this album is Mason at his unadorned best. Eight songs about love, loss, change, death, the current state of the world, and hope. Each note is important and thought out. Every word counts. Nothing extra here. Just the songs.
“Magnifier” is Mason’s twentieth studio album.
Northland singer-songwriter Skarlett Woods opens.
