Wednesday, July 9
10a-3pm Magic School Bus Day Camp – This camp is for ages 8-12 to explore nature in Magic School Bus style! Join “Miss Frizzle” to get up close with aquatic creatures, experiment, and go on an adventure! Space is limited and registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
Friday, July 11
5-6:30pm Traveling Golf Cart – Watch for our staff traveling through the camp areas with program information!
7-8pm Hot Dog Swim – Bring your dog to the beach to cool off in the water! Dogs must be friendly to people and other dogs, on a leash, and cleaned up after.
Saturday, July 12
10-11am Yoga at the Beach – Join BeYoga Studios for a relaxing yoga session on the beach! All experience levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat or beach towel. Suggested donation of $5-10 per person. Admission into the lake is free when you mention the yoga event at the gate.
10am-12pm Nature Center Open & Craft for Kids – Discover what is new in the Nature Center, plus learn about bugs and make a bug hotel!
1-2pm Wiffle Ball – Bring your friends to the field near the Basketball Courts to play a friendly game of wiffle ball!
3-4pm Wreath Craft for Adults – Meet inside the Nature Center to make a relaxing and rejuvenating body scrub to keep or give as a gift!
Sunday, July 13
9-10am Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater, weather permitting.
