Tuesday, July 8
10-11am Discovery Club – This weekly program for ages 5-10 will explore the Nature Center and then get outside to discover nature! This week have fun with fish. Parents are encouraged to attend.
1-2pm Teen Club: Wildlife Conservation – Bring your friends to the Nature Center to learn about wildlife conservation! Group meets weekly with new themes.
9-11pm Moonlight Kayak – Enjoy a kayak tour of Atwood Lake by the light of the full moon! Bring your own or borrow ours. For ages 12 and up. Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets
Wednesday, July 9
9-10am Brew Crew – Meet at the Nature Center for a morning chat and coffee while watching the feeders. Each week will feature a new topic or activity, you help decide! For women 16+.
Thursday, July 10
10-11am Shutterbugs – All ages and camera types are welcome to this weekly photography time! Meet at the new playground to learn about action photography and then try it! Meets weekly with a new topic.
2:30-3:30pm Trail Trekkers – Take a guided hike along the Turkey Ridge with our weekly group! Meet at the shelter near the beach parking lot. Be prepared for natural surfaces with sneakers or hiking shoes.
Friday, July 11
5-7:30pm Traveling Golf Cart – Watch for the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with program schedules!
8-9pm Karaoke – Join fellow campers for a fun time singing your favorites and helping us discover the newest stars! Meet at the Activity Center patio.
Saturday, July 12 Second Saturday & Car Show
10-11am Games for Kids – Meet at the patio behind the Activity Center and play a variety of games!
12-1:30pm Nature Center Open and Craft – Explore the Nature Center and learn about bees and make your own craft to take home!
2-3pm Kids BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a full-size candy bar.
4-8pm Second Saturday: Car Show – Enjoy vendors, food trucks, car show, music with DJ Spikeman, and activities near Tappan Lake Park beach. All vehicles welcome to enter the car show! $10 per vehicle. First 50 receive a dash plaque. Awards include Top 10, Best in Show, and Farthest Traveled. Vendors and booths feature Kona Ice, Jimmi Jukes Wood Fired Pizza, Bosler’s Bees, and Scio Library. Plus, crafts and games for kids including a bead craft, paint your own car and races, bike helmet safety and giveaway, and duckie prize pond!
8-9pm Adult BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a $2 gift.
