Join us for an enriching series of adult-level music classes at Reeves Music with instructor Josh Casstevens, featuring:
1. **Intro to the CAGED System**: This intermediate guitar class will help players utilize familiar voicings and chord shapes to understand chord movement on the guitar neck. Over a course of 12 weeks (14 weeks total with breaks), the class will run every Tuesday from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. Participants are required to have an acoustic or electric guitar with a small amp and a recording device, like a smartphone. Payment plans and scholarships are available.
2. **Pentatonic Scales for Intermediate/Advanced Guitar**: Designed for experienced guitarists, this class explores innovative uses of the pentatonic scale. Classes meet every Tuesday from 8:00 - 9:00 PM for 14 weeks, with breaks during the week of 10/15 and Thanksgiving week. Required materials include a guitar and a recording device, with payment plans and scholarships also available.
3. **Music Theory for Any Instrument**: This inclusive theory class suits musicians of all levels, from beginners to those needing a refresher. Scheduled for the same 14 weeks on Tuesdays from 6:45 - 7:45 PM, participants should bring a notebook, pencil, and optionally their choice of instrument.
