Pokeberry is a tall plant with purple berries that was used to create ink during the 1800’s. Learn how to identify pokeberry, its uses, and how different plants were used to create ink. Make ink from berries collected on the trail and use a feather quill to write or draw a picture. Ink making is a messy process. Wear clothing that can get stained.
