This special event marks the official opening of a new public nature preserve, featuring two scenic loop trails that showcase the region’s commitment to conservation and environmental stewardship. Both trails begin at the north entrance of the preserve and offer visitors a chance to experience the area’s natural beauty up close. The one-mile loop trail leads through vibrant wetland habitats, providing an immersive outdoor experience, while the shorter 0.4-mile trail offers a quick and informative view of the H2Ohio-sponsored water quality project. Trail surfaces consist of natural and grassy terrain and are expected to be seasonally wet, making for a dynamic and engaging outdoor adventure for all ages.
