Sept 3rd is a special duo show featuring Barko Waltz and Highland Park native Aaron Feder, kicking off a week of Barko Waltz shows throughout Illinois. Barko Waltz (guitar/vocals) is a multi-instrumentalist and a singer songwriter born in Argentina, raised in Detroit and living in Barcelona since 2015. His musical style is a timeless variety of classy and classic rock and roll that sounds like a rootsy version of Beck mixed in with the Kinks and a touch of Captain Beefheart. His deep love of folk, blues and all music Americana is evident in all of his original compositions, mixed with cryptical, thoughtful lyrics that draw you in and keep you wondering. Aaron Feder (pedal steel/guitar) is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer originally from Highland Park, but who has been living in Barcelona for over 20 years. Aaron has toured 5 continents playing pedal steel, guitar and bass and has recorded and played with musicians such as Grammy nominated Peter Rowan (Old and in the Way) and multi-Grammy award winner Eric Krasno, Scott Law (Phil Lesh and Friends), members of Greensky Bluegrass, String Cheese Incident, and Everyone Orchestra.
