A single man entry door to the left of Indy Fused Glass. Follow the interior signs to the GAI Studio. Factory Arts District is an old factory...the one way street is Brookside Ave. On the left is Indy Fused Glass. Free ground level parking is on the right - 1/2 way between Centerpointe Brewery and 8th Day Distillery. If GAI decides to hold your ticket value due illness or a family emergency THIS VALUE will ONLY BE HELD FOR 4 months from EVENT DATE. No dollar value will be carried beyond this time frame. All sessions will start by 5 minutes past the posted start of the class time, to keep from delaying our punctual attendees and causing our instructors to get behind in our busy studio schedule. Please check your GPS route day of for your best route to our GAI Studio. The MAIN Entry is a single man door BESIDE a business named Indy Fused Glass. Please follow the signage once you enter. There is a Silver Sign above this door listing some of the businesses inside the Factory Arts District building. There is a ground level parking lot directly across from this door. GAI@FAD is halfway between Centerpointe Brewery and Fowling Warehouse. In this workshop our instructor/s will guide you through studio basics in safety and process and then give a demonstration on the hot glass furnace-worked piece you will be making. You will then have the opportunity to gather molten glass from a 2100-degree furnace. You will get to choose your colors and sculpt molten glass into a beautiful and unique creation of your own. Your creation will have to cool down slowly overnight and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly. T-shirts and blue jeans work well, along with closed toed shoes. No synthetic clothing!! If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend in the studio. You must be 10 years of age or older to participate. The following are the policies regarding cancelling a reservation: If You Have Booked Class Time Through EventBrite or GAI Studio: -100% Refund with 7 or more days’ notice (if it is necessary to request a refund-client will only be refunded the dollar value of the ticket. The client will still cover the EventBrite processing fee.) - 0% refunded with 6 or fewer days’ notice.
