Free ground level parking is on the right - 1/2 way between Centerpointe Brewery and 8th Day Distillery. If GAI decides to hold your ticket value due illness or a family emergency THIS VALUE will ONLY BE HELD FOR 4 months from EVENT DATE. No dollar value will be carried beyond this time frame. GAI@FAD is halfway between Centerpoint Brewery and Fowling Warehouse. To begin this workshop our instructors will guide you through studio safety, followed by a demonstration of the piece you will be making. Then working one-on-one alongside an instructor, we will gather molten glass from the furnace, add colorants of your choosing, then shape and sculpt molten glass. Your beautiful unique creation will have to cool down slowly and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly. T-shirts and blue jeans work well, along with closed toed shoes. No synthetic clothing. If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend out in the studio.
