**Wings 'n Things Annual Event Description**
Join us for the annual 'Wings 'n Things' event, a fantastic experience for family members of all ages, held at the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus in Lakeland, FL. This engaging aerospace event features a wide array of hands-on activities, including building a wing rib, constructing and testing balsa wood gliders, and exploring flight simulations. Attendees can walk through an inflatable hot air balloon, launch stomp rockets, observe the sun through special telescopes, sit in a Sonex aircraft, and fly drones.
Other exciting activities include exploring the stars in a portable planetarium, creating and testing your own whirlybird, honing mechanic skills with riveting, controlling Sphero robots on a Mission to Mars, and getting an up-close look at an F-14 Tom Cat. The event also features bounce houses and food trucks available for lunch. Admission and parking are free.
