Experience a cherished fall tradition in the mountains of North Carolina at the 42nd Annual Mountain Glory Festival on October 11th, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM in downtown Marion. The Mountain Glory Festival fills three blocks of downtown with more than 150 booths, including handmade crafts, delicious festival foods, nonprofit organizations, and community sponsors. In addition to the festival vendors, Marion businesses will be open throughout the day, offering shopping, dining, and drinks. Highlights of the day include: • Shopping and food vendors featuring one-of-a-kind crafts and regional flavors • The Kid’s Korner with hands-on activities such as tutu-making, spin art, a fishing booth, and balloon art • The Best Dressed Pet Contest on the Family Stage • Local entertainment all day with performances from musicians, choirs, dance studios, and more • Special exhibits and activities including the Mountain Glory Quilt Show at the McDowell Arts Council (50 S Main St.).
