I'm so excited to finally announce the grand opening of The Wise Mule on Friday, September 26! Please join me for some quick words, thank you's, and a moment of silence to acknowledge the anniversary of Hurricane Helene at 4:00 PM. The shop will be open until 7:00 PM. After you check out the free store, stop by Euda Wine for a glass of wine across the street and then head to NANU Gallery for the opening reception at 5:00 PM of “Recovering”, a new mixed-media body of work by Old Fort artist Katie McWeeney. Come be in community with neighbors and friends as we recognize what we've been through and celebrate how far we've come. ***The Wise Mule is a free store in Old Fort, NC that operates out of a renovated 1990 school bus and offers clean and curated clothing, accessories, art, home goods, gifts, and more with no pressure to pay, ever.
