The Academy of Kuchipudi Dance of Atlanta is presenting India's renowned Sanskrit poet and dramatist Kalidasa's crown jewel, "Abhijnana Sakuntalam", in Kuchipudi style. The dance drama was originally choreographed by Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam and will be performed to live orchestra from Atlanta under Smt. Sasikala Penumarthi's direction. The music is lovely and the dances are enchanting. Doors open at 3:30pm. Please arrive early. Admission is free. Donations are requested.
