Join the Missouri Extension Master Gardeners for a combined event focused on enhancing local ecosystems. Begin with a Garden Work Day at Burr Oak Woods Nature Center, where participants will maintain the gardens by pulling weeds, deadheading blooms, and making general improvements to flower beds. Tools will be provided, but attendees should bring their own insect and sun protection, as well as a water bottle. Following this, an Invasive Species Workshop will be held to educate attendees on identifying and managing invasive species that threaten native vegetation and biodiversity. Registration is required for participants aged 18 and up.
