Join us for the Karen Land and Noggin the Sled Dog Family Program at the Greensburg Public Library, where musher Karen Land will share her exciting experiences of riding behind a team of Alaskan huskies through breathtaking terrains, including the vast Alaskan tundra and Bering Sea shores. As a three-time participant of the 1000-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race and various other endurance races across North America, Karen will provide insights into caring for these remarkable dogs. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Karen and her Alaskan husky, Noggin, while learning about the adventures of dog mushing. This program will be held indoors in the library's meeting room due to weather conditions, with no registration required. Feel free to bring a chair or blanket for your comfort!
