Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Current shortages mean not all patients might receive the care they need. You can help avoid critically low levels this summer by donating. Type O donors are especially needed. Fast and positive local impact: • It takes about 10 minutes for blood donation and about one hour from check-in for the total process. • One pint of blood can save up to three lives. • 80% of all donations come from mobile drives, and every donation at Reid helps people right here in our communities. If you can donate, Versiti Blood Center of Ohio will host a blood drive from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, at Reid Health in Lingle Hall.
